Who is Dub Asylum?
Dub Asylum (aka Peter McLennan of Hallelujah Picassos) mixes up scratchy old hiphop drum loops and samples with dubbed out guitar and keyboards and cooks it all up in a massive sonic stew that is guaranteed to fry your brain.
The debut EP Dub Never Sleeps dropped in 1999, followed by the album She Dubs Me, She Dubs Me Not in 2002, and a handful of EPs (Ba Ba Boom, Stereo Freeze) and remixes since then.
Dub Asylum have gigged alongside Salmonella Dub, Fat Freddys Drop, The Nomad, and The Black Seeds. Enjoy!
